I made my first PopOp painting in 2001 using the idea of Jasper Johns targets in a combination of illusory optics. In fact paring together Jasper Johns and Bridget Riley.
I later desolved the targets in a morph or a time lapse series combined with video animation.
This is still an ongoing project
